Deleting users from PaperCut Hive and Pocket

This page applies to:

Last updated August 3, 2026

When a user leaves your organization, you should delete them from the Users list to remove their printing access. Deleting a user is permanent and removes them from the system. However, PaperCut Hive or Pocket retains some information, such as their print history.

If the user is synced from an identity provider (such as Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace), they will be re-added on the next sync unless you also remove them from the source.

How to delete a user from PaperCut Hive or Pocket

To delete a user:

  1. In the admin console, go to Manage > Users.
  2. Find the user you want to delete and select their name. The user panel is displayed.
  3. Select the 3-dots menu, then select Delete. A confirmation popup is displayed.
  4. Select Remove user. The user is deleted.

How to delete multiple users from PaperCut Hive or Pocket

There are two ways to delete multiple users:

  • Complete a “destructive sync” of an identity provider.
  • Bulk delete users via a CSV/TSV file.
