Active Directory username length limitation

PaperCut does not impose a 20 character long username limit, however when using Windows Active Directory we utilise the “sAMAccountName”. This is what is seen as the owner of the print job in the print queues. Please see the attached screenshot:

From PaperCut NG/MF version 23.0.3, the limit for the full email username, including the domain, is 255 characters. In versions prior to 23.0.3, the limit was restricted to 50 characters.
