The all-new Ricoh MF embedded application (known as Ricoh SmartSDK-V2) is a completely rebuilt experience, designed from the ground up to elevate PaperCut MF on Ricoh devices. It introduces a modern, intuitive user interface that is consistent with other PaperCut MF embedded applications, making it easier for users and administrators alike.

Running PaperCut MF on Ricoh delivers an intuitive interface along with a streamlined workflow. The application provides easy access to print release, device functions, and Integrated Scanning. It also features:

Quick scroll functionality for quick and multi-print job selection
Print, delete, and view the cost of multiple print jobs together
Control account, bill, or charge every copy, print, scan ,and fax, plus ‘print from’ and ‘scan to’ * USB storage with ease

Integrated scanning

PaperCut MF on Ricoh Multifunctional Devices delivers integrated scanning. They can create smart, text-searchable documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) either in the Cloud or locally hosted (on-premise). The all-in-one, intuitive user interface provides a consistent and seamless experience allowing users to:

Securely scan documents to email, specified network folders, and a growing list of cloud storage providers

In product upgrade - A PaperCut MF first
Devices running the old v1 Ricoh embedded application can be upgraded to the new app directly from within the PaperCut MF admin interface, one-by-one or in bulk. There's no need to manage accepting certificates on the device or from the ROC Tool. So long as the device has the Root Certificate Authority installed, the certificate will be accepted.

Auto update of the new app
After upgrading your PaperCut MF server, if a new version of the app is available, the devices will update to the latest version once the server starts.
