6 print and IT forecasts for 2021

The Cannata Report recently posted an impressively detailed watchlist of 2021 trends and it got me thinking… What will I be keeping an eye on this year?

While we’re all keen to sweep the memory of 2020 under the rug, it’s pragmatic to acknowledge that its shadow is already looming over 2021.

How PaperCut reimagined the print server

The dream of cloud print management is to achieve a reliable, secure, and fast printing experience without any dedicated on-site infrastructure (beyond the printer of course).

But how do you print without a server?

Bringing cutting-edge IoT technology to the world of print, PaperCut Hive reimagines the local print server by creating an Edge Mesh.

Why MLK Day’s a good day for the USA

It’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day (also known as MLK Day).

And with Inauguration day coming up, today’s a good day to talk about Dr. King, his immortal legacy, and why we celebrate this legend.

The 5 point print checklist to get your business set for 2021

Something had to be done to manage the printers (and everything about them), and to find a replacement for the soon-to-be deprecated Google Cloud Print they were using.

Here’s what they did.

Women Better Together at PaperCut

PaperCut recently launched a new initiative – Women Better Together, a place for women to connect, learn, amplify, and support each other.

It’s that time again at PaperCut where we relax, rejuvenate, and most importantly, release.

Here’s what’s included in 20.1 as well as what’s changing in this release.

This release is also a little different to our previous upgrades, without further ado, let’s dive in.

Honoring Pandrosion of Alexandria for Ada Lovelace Day

To celebrate Ada Lovelace Day I thought I’d take the opportunity to write about another underrated woman of STEM, Pandrosion of Alexandria.

As far as we know Pandrosion developed a technique to calculate approximate, but numerically accurate, cube roots using a three dimensional geometric technique.
