Sharp OSA (LE version)

Overview

Sharp recently released a range of printers and MFPs that support Sharp OSA (LE version).

PaperCut is proud to be working with Sharp to be amongst the first Print Management Solution with a PaperCut MF embedded application for the new Sharp devices.

Early Access Sign Up - Coming Soon

Early Access will be available for Partners from 30th June to familiarize themselves with the new application in non production or showroom environments only. At this time, partners should sign up for early access. A hotfix build of PaperCut MF 26 will be provided when available.

Please contact your local Sharp subsidiary for the required dedicated firmware. PaperCut will not provide Sharp firmware.

The basics

The new PaperCut MF Embedded App for Sharp OSA (LE version) models is a secure print release app to help organizations secure their printing environment, while cutting cost and waste.

The secure print release embedded app supports our strategy to enable secure printing on entry level devices with smaller touch screens and lower price points.

Included features

1. User Authentication
   • Card
   • ID Number
2. Release All print jobs upon Authentication
   • All print jobs in the user queue are released immediately upon login
3. Find Me Secure Printing
   • Users can release Individual Selected Print Jobs, one, or many at a time
   • Users can release All Print Jobs at once
4. Delete Print Jobs at the device
   • Users can delete Individual Selected Print Jobs, one, or many at a time
   • Users can delete All Print Jobs at once
