KB Home | Slow server/slow popups with Novell iPrint
Some customers have reported popups slow to respond and/or low server performance due to a popular software “HP ToolboxFX” installed on workstation computers. The software comes bundled with HP drivers so users may not be aware of its presence.
HP ToolboxFX does frequent queries to IPP printers causing a resource shortage in the Novell iPrint Manager.
Replace HP ToolboxFX install with basic drivers
Run a full uninstall of the HP ToolboxFX software including drivers and reinstall basic HP drivers for the printers that do not come bundled with software.
