Konica Minolta device logs prints as copies

This KB article relates to PaperCut MF, the edition of PaperCut that implements copier control.
Q When I print to a Konica Minolta MFD, those prints are additionally logged as copies. This happens in particular in conjunction with print release.
You need to make sure print jobs go to the copier “unauthenticated”. Please see the section titled “Enabling unauthenticated printing” in the Konica Minolta Embedded Manual.
Note: Both the Print Driver settings and the Front Panel / LCD settings need to be changed.
