Keeping students and teachers safe with your school’s printing

Safety has always been important for schools, but it’s become a higher priority during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’re not referring to data security (that we’ll cover in a blog soon). We mean the physical welfare of students, teachers, and staff.

Protecting health and wellbeing is still of elevated significance. This global health crisis is far from over and is going to have a long-lasting impact on how schools operate safely.

When it comes to printing, there are three focus areas for protecting your school:

  1. Touch-free printing
  2. Avoiding congestion at the printer
  3. Simple enablement for printing from home

The current state of play the world over is still in flux. Some areas are returning to some form of “new normal” but COVID-19 case numbers are still high. Other locations are still sporadically entering lockdowns and restrictions.

Sysadmins, no matter where they are, need tools to rapidly and flexibly deploy safety measures depending on their school’s individual needs.

PaperCut features like Find-Me printing and tools like PaperCut Mobility Print will tick off all three of these safety requirements.
