Change the status of an order
As an order is processed, it progresses through a number of statuses until the job is complete. You need to change the status of the order in Job Ticketing as it progresses.
To change the status of an order:
- Log in to the Job Ticketing Operator interface.
Change the status of an order in either of the following ways:
- In the Workflow view, drag an order to the required column.
In the order (if you have an order open, for example, if you are adding an Internal Comment or Customer Reply).
- In either the Workflow or Order List view, click an order.
- In Status, select the required status.
Some statuses require a cost to be recorded against the order. If the cost has not previously been entered, you will be prompted at add the cost. For more information, see Charge an order to an account.
