Print Jobs Not Paused in Hold/Release Queue or for Client Popup
KB Home | Print Jobs Not Paused in Hold/Release Queue or for Client Popup
Printing as a user that has client popups enabled in any form such as account selection and job confirmation or printing to a queue that has hold/release enabled should pause the print job. Jobs are not to print before the popup is confirmed or the job is released from hold/release through a release station.
If print jobs are printing straight away anyway there is with near certainty another software installed on the system that interferes with printing — this may be PaperCut’s free Print Logger software or another application that monitors, manages, tracks or in other ways interferes with printing. Please check your list of installed programs for any candidates.
This release contains an updated Java version which no longer supports 32-bit workstations. If you have any 32-bit users launching the User Client or Release Station from a network share, see this Knowledge Base article for more information.
