This was a big week for PaperCut… Why? Because we launched our cloud-native print management platform to our channel partners!

Fuelled by coffee and dreams, our Melbourne, Portland, and London teams hosted a series of webinars for our ASCs and Resellers in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

The star of the show? We officially unveiled our cloud-native flagship product, PaperCut Hive!

Located in North West Indiana, East Porter may seem like a humble-sized school district with 2,500 students, what makes it unique is it’s spread across three different campuses.

When the deprecation of Google Cloud Print was announced, they had to find a suitable alternative. But it was also an opportunity to alleviate some of their other printing pain-points.

A recent Deloitte survey reported 87% of global IT decision-makers agree the pandemic will cause organizations to accelerate their migration to the cloud, anticipating a decline in on-premise workloads by 2025.

So to answer the question, “When will businesses switch their printing from on-premise to cloud?” They already are.

However, not all businesses just yet.

The dream of cloud print management is to outsource printing to a cloud provider without having a print server on-premise.

But here’s the catch…

Clouds can’t talk to printers. All cloud print management solutions require something on-prem in order to work.

To date, over 112 million users in 186 countries are reducing their paper wastage with our software. Business is good.

How many trees have we actually saved? We happen to have data. Sort of… There’s quite a caveat on that front.
