Secure Online Credit Card Payment
This is the fastest and easiest way to order PaperCut. Your credit card information is sent directly to our credit card processor in a highly secure manner. This ensures that nobody but you and the credit card processor will see your credit card information. You can go directly to the order page by selecting your industry sector above and clicking the Buy PaperCut button.

Invoices / Purchase Orders
Our online order system accepts purchase orders with payment via invoice on a 30 day settlement. Payment options include check, wire transfer and credit card.
To order via Purchase Order/Invoice:
- Select your industry sector above and click the Buy PaperCut button.
- Follow the instructions and fill out your order details.
- Optionally, enter your purchase order number when requested.
- Choose the Invoice option when prompted for payment method.
- Optionally, send us a copy of the purchase order via email to sales@papercut.com or fax to +1-815-550-1983 or +61-3-8621-8983 (Aus: 03-8621-8983).
Once the online order form is completed an invoice is emailed to the supplied email address. We will also send a copy of the invoice via regular post.
Can I use my license with other operating systems?
Yes, a PaperCut license may be used on any operating system. Multiple servers is not a problem, and each server or workstation may run any of the supported operating systems.
What will I receive when I purchase?
The program itself is available for download and may be installed and used prior to purchase. We recommend that you backup the download file for reinstallation if required.
Upon receipt of the order / payment we will send you the relevant license file and registration certificate by email. For direct sales we will also send the details by airmail (delivery about 10 days). Invoices are sent both by email and airmail.
I would prefer to purchase locally, is this possible?
We have authorized solution centers (resellers) in many regions listed on the authorized solution center page. Authorized Solution Centers are able to assist organizations looking at both PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF. Of course, PaperCut NG is available world-wide for direct online purchase.
Which currencies do you accept?
We accept payments in most major currencies including USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD and NZD. If you require payment in another currency please ask.
Can I receive a quotation and invoice in my currency?
Yes. You can create your own formal quotation online, by visiting our online order system and selecting "Create a quotation". You will be emailed a quotation that is valid for 40 days.
Can I pay with a school/university check?
Yes. Place your order using our online order system and select to pay via Invoice. Make your check out to "PaperCut Software International Pty Ltd" as outlined on the invoice.
Do you allow refunds or cancellations?
We will refund any payments made if the program is not able to be made to work on your system, provided our support staff have had the opportunity to work with you to resolve the problem. As we do provide a 40 day, pre-purchase evaluation period we reserve the right to deduct administrative expenses from the refund.
Is there a limit on the number of servers?
No. Licensing is based only on the number of users. It's a true organization-wide license with no limit on the number of servers, workstations, or printers. There is also no hidden extras when implementing features such as clustering, monitoring locally attached printers, or external databases. Our goal is to ensure that licensing constraints don't impose on your network design or architecture.
Can I use a license over multiple sites?
Yes. We're happy to have a single license used across multiple sites within the same organization (i.e. a true organization wide-license). The requirements are that the organization must have centralized IT services and the number of users licensed covers the sum of the user count at all sites. Centralized IT is to ensure there is a nominated single-point-of-contact so support requests come from one person rather than separately from each sites. The number of free sites is limited to 10 for education licenses and 5 for corporate licenses. Additional sites can be purchased at a low cost on request.
If your organization does not have centralized support, please contact us. We'll still be able to arrange a multi-site bulk purchase discount.
Is the price negotiable?
One of the advantages of having a fully transparent and open pricing policy is that we avoid the "negotiations" that may occur. The end result is we all save a little time. We also believe our pricing is very fair and reasonable. We've managed to keep our pricing very low by selling our software direct. We don't have a complex chain of agents, resellers and marketing layers all wanting a piece of the pie! If however you feel you have special circumstances, then please contact us. We have initiatives such as the developing world license to ensure people from all parts of the world can run and afford PaperCut.
How long does it take for my license to arrive?
After placing an order via our online order system you will receive your license via email within one working day. Although we do occasionally make mistakes the most common problem is email from papercut.com being blocked by spam filters. You can assist by checking junk mail boxes and adding papercut.com to your email white-list. Please contact us if you have not received your license 24 hours after placing your order.
Who processes my Credit Card payment?
PaperCut Software does not process Credit Cards directly and instead leaves this up to a trusted payment provider (Global Collect) to handle the transaction on our behalf. (Processing credit card payments directly is a tricky security mess so we leave this up to the experts!) PaperCut Software will appear on your Credit Card bill/statement. Your Credit Card details are not stored on any server nor can be viewed by our staff. All details are secure and passed to the Global Collect servers via SSL/HTTPS. Any transactions are once-off payments and there is no recurrent billing.
What taxes are involved?
Australian customers have separate pricing that included local GST. All other transactions are international and no taxes are involved. We pay all taxes in Australia.
