Resetting the Lexmark embedded Solution Framework (LeSF)

Problems with the Lexmark embedded application can often be resolved through the following procedure:

  • Switch off device
  • Hold down the "2" and "6" keys on the panel
  • Switch on device
  • Hold the "2" and "6" at least until that progress bar starts moving, then let go
  • Eventually a menu will show. Find "LeS Framework Reset" and select that
  • Reboot (switch off an on again)
  • Then install the embedded PaperCut application again
