Managing End-User Payments

Many organizations use PaperCut NG as a quota system and require users/students to make payments with their own money once their quota is exceeded. PaperCut provides a number of methods and tools to assist with payments. These are summarized below:

1. TopUp/Pre-Paid Cards

PaperCut provides the tools required to manage your own coupon or voucher system. You can read more about this on the tour page.

2. Payment Gateway

The Payment Gateway provides automated payment options for larger organizations, including automated online payment and integration with 3rd party payment gateways. Read more about this option here, or please contact us at support@papercut.com to discuss options.

3. Manual Payments

Manual payments is the simplest system and probably the ideal starting point for smaller organizations. Simply provide limited administrator level access to select staff. These staff can take payments and update the end-user's account in real-time using a standard web browser and PaperCut's simple-to-use web interface.
