PaperCut software release new versions on average once a month. This page contains early access releases and are produced so that customers who have had work done under the adopt a feature program have immediate access to the new feature. These releases are restricted to adopt a feature customers. They are officially supported and will not compromise the ability to apply future upgrades.

March 2009

• 2nd March 2009: Early access released based on PaperCut NG 9.2 containing the ability define additional groups outside of the directory structure in a plain text file. The build number is 7367 and is available to customers on request.

May 2008

• 12th May 2008: Early access release based on PaperCut NG 8.2. Download: pcng-setup-8.2.5909.exe. This release includes:
  • improved performance of the card/id number import file operation.
  • improved reliability of the "pay station" when application server is restarted,
  • automatically clean up duplicate user records if detected.
  • improved performance of the feature that adds new users on demand (i.e. when users print and do not exist in PaperCut),
  • improved performance of bulk user operations (group based operations).
• 1st May 2008: Early access release based on PaperCut NG 8.2 to improve handling of duplicate users in the PaperCut database (also includes pay station support and release station accessibility improvements): pcng-setup-8.2.5871.exe
