New Fact Sheet
I spent most of today and yesterday fixing up our PDF Fact Sheet for PaperCut Quota to include sections covering some of the new functionality introduced in version 5. We’ve set ourselves a limit of 4 sheets and can never fit in all our important features. Deciding that feature X is more important that feature Y is also another area of contention amongst us developers. I know I tend do favor the features I work on personally! If anyone has any thoughts on what should, or should not, be included in the fact sheet, please let me know.

PaperCut Quota 5.1 now out
We released PaperCut 5.1 yesterday. The focus for this release was to track down bugs in the 5.1 release and add additional functionality to the web tools interface. We’re finding that more and more of our users are using the web interface as a primary means of managing PaperCut. In this release we have moved much of the standard reporting and data export functionality into the web interface. I expect that we’ll be enhancing this even more over the next 12 months. If you have any opinion on this, please send me an email.
Please see the release history page for and matt’s blogs for further detail.

PaperCut Quota 5.1 released
It’s been almost a month since we released PaperCut Quota 5.0 (and just as long since I’ve blogged). We’ve been working hard to make PaperCut even better!
This release includes a number of features you’ve been asking for:
- Support for an unlimited number of printers per server
- Advanced web based reporting in the Web Tools interface
- Automated log import from secondary servers
- Net Charging support for MS ISA Server SQL Server logging
There’s lots more … but you can read about that on the release history page.

PaperCut Knowledge Base
We’ve just started a new Knowledge Base site for PaperCut. The site will contain technical information covering PaperCut, its installation, and support. Customers can view an early version of the site at http://kb.papercutsoftware.com/. We plan on giving out a password to our customers to allow them to edit and add to the site. In many cases our users know implementation tricks that we would never have thought of ourselves! It will be great to get a wide range of ideas on the site.
